Bagels

1 1/2 T. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt
1 c. water
3 c. flour
2 t. yeast

Set bread machine t dough. When done, take out and shape. Raise for 20 minutes. Start 3 quarts of water boiling with 1 t. sugar, and when lightly boiling, put them in 1 minute on each side. Dust with cornmeal, bake at 400 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes. Makes 12 bagels.
